3 months ago, nung helpless crying kuting pa lang siya, nakita kong iniwan siya ng mother cat sa isang basurahan. inuwi ko siya para alagaan at ampunin.

5 days ago hindi na siya umuwi dito sa bahay.
he was abducted by evel aliens aka koreans.

supposedly big shoot last sunday pero nag-backout yung model so kinailangan naming maghanap ng kapalit.

dub was available. she's indian-american by the way, pero purong tagalog. dito kase pinanganak at lumaki. she's 18. she reminded me how "old" i already am. 36 lang daw ang edad ng mama niya. kasing tanda lang yun ng ate ko. hala.

limited myself with a 50mm prime with this shoot. no flashes. no strobes. fixed focal length. fixed aperture of f/2.8. sunlight lang ang ilaw with the help of a gold reflector.

it's back to the basics.

here's my favorite lomo shot i took.

that's my ate giving a salute. shot using a vivitar uw&s loaded with a kodak elitechrome. this was after the pinatubo adventure. we had a side trip to capas shrine, a monument built for the filipino and american soldiers who walked all the way from bataan to tarlac.

we have two lolos who survived the death march.

next tentative destination is putipot island sa zambales. june 12-13 daw. pwede, holiday yun. sun dance!

kahapon group shoot ng ccc. we invited 6 models. 20+ kaming photographers. free for all, labo-labo. ang hirap. of 160+ shots that i took 4 lang ang gusto ko. ang hirap talaga pag maramihan.

return to zambales

hello people who drop by my blog. long time no read.

last weekend ang pangatlo kong balik sa zambales. una magisa ako para mag "soul search" hahaha. pangalawa yung pinatubo, tarlac kami dumaan pero technically zambales yung bulkan. yung huli nitong fri to sat lang.

went there to try surfing again. malas lang walang waves. muntik nang maging boring ang saturday morning pero buti na lang nag-decide kami mag stroll sa seashore. at ayun, bingo! may nagpapa-rent ng mga skim board. yey, activity! mura pa 50 pesos per hour lang compared sa 400 per hour na surfing.

mahirap pala. parang simple lang tingnan pero hindi. kelangan ng resistensya. kelangan ng timing. kelangan ng balanse. pag pinagsabay yung tatlo madalas sumasablay ako.

parang 3x siya mas mahirap sa surfing.
