we can be heroes

last friday night, habang naglalakad sa gilid ng edsa papunta ng mrt station meron akong nakita. group of about 40 to 60 street children who were seated together. and it seemed like they were chanting in unison. nagbabasa pala sila. there was this kind hearted guy with a backpack, about the same age as me, who was trying to give these unfortunate children free education. mukha pa nga siyang konyo eh. looks like someone who would spend friday nights drinking and relaxing after a weeks load of work. but he was there, and he was trying to make a difference. the sight was inspiring and touching at the same time.

dun sa nakita ko nung friday, kung sino ka man, saludo ako sa yo. sana dumami pa ang katulad mo. lanya ka. lalo mo lang akong pinagmukhang inutil, hahaha.
